Recognized for her contributions to education within the Leather community, she was honored as the MAsT International Presenter of the Year in 2024. She is also the curator of the Leather Quilt Project, which works to preserve Leather history by honoring the stories, meaning, and energy represented in each square. A sought-after educator, Master Varii teaches throughout the United States and internationally via Zoom. Her presentations span a wide range of topics, including Master/slave dynamics, authority transfer relationships, leadership development, mentorship, service, and practical skill-based kink education. With more than four decades of experience on the left side of the slash, Master Varii brings both lived experience and practical insight to her teaching. Her personal journey includes a 38-year full-time Master/slave, Total Authority Transfer dynamic with her husband, as well as a variety of authority transfer relationships with individuals seeking service, structure, growth, and deep connection. Known for her straightforward approach, Master Varii believes that honesty, transparency, communication, and continuous personal growth form the foundation of healthy and sustainable power exchange relationships. While she identifies as an affectionate and nurturing Dominant, she also embraces her primal nature and unapologetic sadistic tendencies, bringing both intensity and authenticity to her dynamic and her teaching. Keynote: To Be Announced Check back on the Keynote topic. Class: Building an Authority Transfer Dynamic with Mindfulness and Purpose A healthy M/s dynamic doesn’t magically develop. Much like building a house the foundation must be laid, then piece by piece a structure must be formed that will withstand the winds of time and the day-to-day challenges of life. In this class we will look at some of the building materials needed and techniques that help create strong relationship dynamics tailored to your needs. Class: Whips: Sensual to Sadistic Whips are often thought of as tools of torture and extreme pain. While that can be true, they can also be used erotically! Like any tool, in the hands of an experienced and well-trained whips top, the swish, crack of the whip can be mesmerizing and can flow from sensual to sadistic and back again. We will look at the art of building a whips scene. We will also explore a variety of whips and how to achieve the results you desire. Class: The Importance of Protocols and Rituals We meet, we are excited to find someone that shares our passion for kink and authority transfer relationships. We are flying high on NRE (new relationship energy). Then time and life happens. How do you fight the centrifugal force of life that leads you to vanilla? We will talk about the importance of and purpose of protocols, especially in long term dynamics.

National Educator: Daddy Stan & laura

Master/Daddy Stan and slavegirl laura, along with kathryn, lead AEL (Alternative Erotic Lifestyles), the longest running kink organization in New Mexico. Master/Daddy Stan is the recipient of the Rio Grande Leather Community Service Award, and the 2010 Pantheon of Leather Rocky Mountain Region Award. Class: Introduction to the Artistry of Rope Though it is easy to use rope for the sole purpose of restraint, the true beauty of rope bondage is found in finding artistic ways of applying the rope. In this workshop students will be guided through a series of hands on techniques that will allow them to use rope to create works of art that are not only effective for restraint, but beautiful to behold. Being a hands on class, it is suggested that participants bring rope and a partner to play with. Class: Dynamics of Leather Family Leadership This fascinating class is an interactive exploration of the roles assumed in a Leather family. During the workshop, attendees will contribute in defining what makes a healthy Leather relationship, explore ways of implementing these definitions, and prepare for common challenges. Class: Energy Orgasms and Energy Play This Workshop focuses on learning to use you are internal energy in ways that you may have never thought of before. We've all experienced feeling a person's energy , it might be an aroused feeling when they walk in the room it, it could be sensing the touch of a partner before your body's even meet. We all give off energy and can learn to use it to enhance our play experiences , and even as a form of play in and of itself . Imagine being able to bring a partner to greater state of arousal, pleasure, and even orgasm using nothing other than your own energy.

Educator: boy Xtian

boy Xtian (he/they) is a transmasc nonbinary goblin who has been involved in the leather and kink community for 13 years. A dedicated bootblack with a love for impact play, power exchange, and pet play, he served as Mr. Corazón Leather 2019–2021. When not on the stand for Onyx Gear Night or elsewhere, boy Xtian is a sociology student at WNMU who manages far too many craft projects. Having presented at kink events, anime conventions, and historical reenactments, he brings a unique perspective that blends academic inquiry with seasoned, lived experience to help others build intentional, autonomous connections. Class: Relationship Anarchy - Not just for Romance Most people view Relationship Anarchy (RA) as just another way to "do" polyamory, but it is actually a radical tool for restructuring an entire social world. In this session, boy Xtian strips away the "relationship escalator" to explore how RA principles apply to best friends, biological family, and power-exchange dynamics alike. The class discusses how to dismantle societal hierarchies and build custom-fit connections based on autonomy and mutual consent rather than obligation. Attendees will leave with a new perspective on their interpersonal connections and the tools to navigate a life lived without a script. Class: The Guerrilla Bootblack: Logistics, Layout, and Etiquette* You have the skills, but how do you run a successful stand without a permanent throne? In this session, boy Xtian covers the essential logistics of mobile bootblacking, from managing digital payments and advertising to the "folding chair hustle." The class dives into stand etiquette—how to manage the line, engage with the crowd, and maintain the sanctity of the chair in a busy environment. Attendees will learn how to adapt ergonomics for improvised setups and turn any space into a professional experience. Whether prepping for a local munch or a major convention, students will walk away understanding both the business side of the brush and the social grace of the stand. * This is a backup class. It may not be held unless another instructor cannot make it. Class: The Recovery Lens: Codependency in Kink In a community that celebrates deep devotion, the line between "total service" and "total loss of self" can become dangerously thin. Drawing on his lived experience in active recovery for codependency, Xtian explores the difficult intersection of healing and power- exchange dynamics. This class offers a raw, honest look at how these cycles weave into kink relationships and how to begin the journey of breaking free. He shares his personal story alongside practical tools for reclaiming autonomy without sacrificing the capacity for deep connection. This session provides a compassionate framework for identifying red flags, setting boundaries, and moving from a place of survival toward healthy, intentional interdependence.

National Educator: Travis Wilson & Amy Wilson

Travis Wilson has over 35 years’ experience in the Leather/BDSM lifestyle. He was a co-founder and chairman of Houston’s People Exchanging Power (PEP), co-founder and chairman of Houston S&M Ball, an internally respected fetish event. Travis presents at many Leather/BDSM events across the country in states including Nebraska, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Alabama, Washington D.C., South Dakota, Montana, and Texas. He now focuses upon providing joint workshops with his Significant Other, the lovely Amy, or WolfMoon73. Amy has been a part of the BDSM community since 2005, with time spent in areas such as Chicago, Wisconsin, St. Louis, and Minnesota. She has quickly grown to love the Southwest and has assimilated here. Her main BDSM interests are as a BootBlack and an S&M heavy play bottom. Amy helps Travis with all their classes and also teaches Piercing, bloodlust and Bootblack classes. Class: SEXUAL TENSION Sexual tension is simply the phenomenon that occurs when two individuals interact and one or both feel sexual desire, but the consummation is postponed or never happens. That sounds frustrating. And it is. And that is often our intent. Create desire. Create sexual need. And frustrate it. Make the desire last longer without consummation early on. But understand this. Pleasure comes as much from the anticipation as it does the consummation. In this class we are going to anticipate LOTS. We use bondage, chains, isolation, mummification, sex talk, sexual hints, jealousy and things like chastity belts/cages, not to bore our partners, but to increase their desire, build it through delay and continual frustration and continual anticipation. . (with, of course, ultimate rewards). Come and chat with us and bring your own ideas about how to add intense and exciting types of sexual tension to what you do in your play. This isn’t always soft play. You can play easy. Some sweet but sexy texts while at work. Some sexy kisses and touches when home. Some fun suggestions of what can happen “later”. Maybe some bondage while the Bottom is being cruelly teased by touch or voice. Or you can play at more extreme edges. Use Jealousy. Use denial (an hour or a lifetime. ). At its outer edges this can be the ultimate edge play. We aren’t just putting our bodies at risk but our emotions. Trust and communication matter here as much or more than playing with knives, ropes, or whips. So communication and reassurance are at the heart of this fetish. “Tease and Denial” requires LOTS of teasing, and more, lots of communication and reassurance. This is a “team sport”. It is, ultimately, about intense pleasure that can only come from intense play. Class: Pressure Points for their pain and your pleasure Of course you have $8000 worth of whips and flogs. Hours of classes on whips and flogs and cuttings and piercings and endless hours learning Shibari. But, my friend, what about your hands? They started it all. Lets get back to what you can do with them now. Pressure points are amazing points for pain and pleasure requiring no cost, and not much education. Join us for some fun new adventures. They literally changed how I Play. See if they will change you! Class: Bullwhip Workshop Noise, pain, passion, sensations of all kinds. From the gentle feel of leather wrapping around the body to harsh cracks resounding against skin, leaving marks as harsh as you dare, or kisses as gentle as a breeze.. Single tails can take you all the way, however fast, and however hard you want. Loving and sensual, cruel and biting. Come learn the basics on what makes them work, how to use them safely, how to choose the style that works for you, how to practice, and how to play them in ways that excite both you and your partner. You will be surprised at the ease in which you can learn this exciting BDSM tool.

He holds an MLS and an MA in English from Southern CT State University, and a BA in theater from Augusta (GA) College. Class: Chasing the Hanky Code: The Challenges of Preserving Fragile Cultural Memories The hanky code, a system to silently signal desire, identity, and belonging, is one of the most recognizable yet least documented traditions to emerge from leather and fetish subcultures. Its meanings shifted from place to place and decade to decade, passed along through whispered conversation rather than written record. Tracking its origins is a frequently asked question, but one that cannot be answered. The hanky code will serve as a starting point for a larger conversation about what is required to collect, document, and research the histories of communities forced to live in the margins. We will explore the practical and ethical challenges that archivists, historians, and community members face when the subject matter has long been hidden, criminalized, or dismissed. How do you build a reliable record when sources contradict each other, when key figures used pseudonyms, when photographs were destroyed for safety, or when oral traditions died with their keepers? How do you honor the privacy of people who never expected to be studied while still ensuring that their contributions are not forgotten? The program draws on archival materials, firsthand accounts, and the working experience of those who do this work every day. Class: Thick Ash Cigar Play Got a thing for the smell of a fine cigar, the slow burn of a Dom who knows how to use one, or the delicious vulnerability of kneeling at someone's boots while they blow smoke in your face? This 90-minute hands-on workshop is your invitation to dive in. We'll cover the erotic language of cigar play — from the teasing heat of ash against skin to the intoxicating power dynamics that make a lit cigar one of leather culture's most iconic props. Come curious, come thirsty, and maybe leave with a new obsession. Bring your own cigar. A limited number will be available for purchase. Learning Objectives: • Play Safe, Play Dirty — Participants will be able to identify harm-reduction practices that keep scenes hot without anyone getting hurt — burn safety, smoke exposure, negotiating limits, and the kind of aftercare that makes a sub want to come back for more. • Own the Dynamic — Participants will understand how to use a cigar as a tool of seduction and control, building tension, commanding attention, and turning something as simple as an exhale into an act of dominance that drops a sub to their knees. • Handle It Like You Mean It — Participants will leave knowing how to cut, light, and work a cigar with confidence — plus the unspoken protocols and leather community etiquette that signal you know exactly what you're doing (and what you want). • Make Your Brain Big - Participants will learn some basic history of cigars and cigar smoking, and gain an understanding of how (and why) it has been adopted into the queer community.

He spent six years as club President and continues to serve on the board, as well as maintaining active membership and/or leadership roles within the Chicago Hellfire Club, Austin Gears, and several other clubs nationwide. He has an extensive history working with LGBTQ+ organizations both on staff and in the trenches. He currently serves on the board of the Leather Archives and Museum. Class: Scratch, Sniff, Submit or Dominate How does pet headspace meet rough play, dominance/submission and more? As a handler, have you thought about taking play with your pet to another level but worried that would overload their headspace? As a pet, are you innocent, mischievous, or just an opportunist? This class will discuss ways to: - Examine your pet headspace and embrace another level of play. Set healthy boundaries when in pet space. Think about what would truly fulfil you or make you happy. As a handler, find ways to give each other what you need and desire without breaking your pet. Embrace the dynamic that grows between you and your pet, and turn that into healthy play. Class: Advanced Flogging Techniques There is no one true way to throw a flogger - but there are many ways to add techniques to your flogging skillset. This class will take a look at flogging from a martial arts perspective - ways to add both more control and more oomph, without necessarily having to work harder. It will cover aspects of momentum and energy transfer, and how to use surface impact versus hits felt deeper in muscle tissue. Pacing, timing, the use of rhythm and broken rhythms are all tools that can help increase the mental journey for the bottom without having to always ramp up physical impact alone. Class: Improvised Impact and Bondage Sometimes you have your toybag - sometimes you don't. There are many ways to improvise impact play, from slapping, hand spanking, punching, to kicks, trampling, and improvised "well I have this" grabbing whatever's handy. There are also a lot of ways to improvise bondage, using clothing or just body positions to provide immobilization. We'll take a look at safety, some new ideas on ways to play, and talk about how to make use of what's close without getting dangerous/crossing boundaries. We'll talk about how to negotiate a more improvised scene and how to evaluate risk as you bring in less common items and turn them into toys.

Vendor: Katie Art

Dark romance readers, come meet author Katie Art. Browse signed books, pick up bookish swag, and a new naughty novel! Whether you're already a fan of dark romance or simply looking for your next addictive read, stop by the booth, say hello, and take home a signed copy! I grew up in a town where the desert stretched endlessly, and my childhood revolved around Sunday sermons and homework assignments. By twenty-three, I had checked all the expected boxes: the ring, the vows, the family portrait on the mantel, and the full-time career. I should have felt complete. Instead, I felt the quiet ache of something missing. But then it happened. The world of erotica revealed itself to me, like a beautifully wrapped present that I had never known. With eager curiosity, I delved into sensuality and discovered the power of my own Eros. Writing these stories became my secret laboratory, each word an experiment with fantasy and desire. Every finished story was proof that the woman I was becoming had been waiting inside me all along. My stories await your discovery on Ream, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Instagram. His & Hers, by Katie Art An irresistible anthology of short erotic fantasies, co-authored by a passionate couple seeking to explore their deepest desires. Featuring a story with the beautiful Mistress Glow that you will not want to miss! My Journey into Submission, by Katie Art Buried under the weight of graduate studies and multiple jobs, KC stumbles upon an offer too tempting to refuse. One that upends everything she thought she knew about herself. The relationship draws her into the delicate dance of submission, where power exchanges hands but never disappears completely. Between research deadlines and work shifts, she discovers the freedom in surrender, questioning where her boundaries truly lie. This is KC’s story… a scholar learning that some lessons can only be taught outside the classroom.
